Novavisions sells majority in NovaStor to management and group of investors

Rotkreuz (Switzerland), 1 July 2009 - Novavisions AG signed an agreement with a group of investors and NovaStor management on the majority takeover of the NovaStor companies yesterday.

This transaction puts into practice the resolution taken at the Annual Shareholders Meeting on 8 May of only holding minority stakes in companies.

Under the agreement, company management and an investor group will acquire the majority of the NovaStor companies, valued at EUR 6.1 million. Novavisions is to remain a significant minority investor in NovaStor. The sale brings Novavisions a capital gain of around EUR 0.7. The transaction will give rise to a short-term cash flow of some EUR 0.9 million for Novavisions from the initial payment instalment. This partial disposal also significantly reduces costs at the company and creates room for further steps to increase shareholder value.
